HUBUNGAN TINGKAT STRES DAN ASUPAN ZAT GIZI MAKRO TERHADAP KEJADIAN KEGEMUKAN REMAJA PUTRI SMK DI KOTA BEKASI : (The Relationship between Stress Levels and Macro Nutrient Intake with Obesity in Vocational High School Adolescents in Bekasi City)
Overnutrition is one of the health issues that concern many developing countries, including Indonesia. Adolescents are prone to stress and having an increased appetite, so they have more risk of obesity. A previous study mentioned that an overweight adolescent is more likely to be an overweight / obese adult. Excessive intake of energy, carbohydrates, protein and fat, is one cause of obesity. The other factors are environmental and psychological factors, as well as low physical activity. The prevalence of overweight within aged 16-18 years in Bekasi City is high (7.5%). Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and macronutrient intake to the incidence of female adolescent obesity in SMK Kota Bekasi. This study was a cross-sectional study with a purposive sampling technique involving 282 female students from classes X, XI, and XII in SMK of Bekasi City as respondents. Data were analyzed
using the chi-square Pearson correlation test. Data collection was using an SQ-FFQ Questionnaire Form (Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire) and 42 Depression Anxiety Stress Scale
questionnaire (DASS 42) as well as anthropometry measurements. The result showed the prevalence of overweight among female students is 19.9%. The majority of them have excess energy, carbohydrates, protein, and fat intake for 37.2%, 33%, 61.3%, and 50.7%, respectively. The statistical analysis showed that there was no relationship between stress levels, energy intake, carbohydrates, fat, and obesity (pvalue> 0.05). However, there was a significant relationship between protein intake and obesity (p-value: <0.05).
