Academic achievement is a characteristic of students who have quality in human resources. The average value of Indonesia's human resource quality is below other ASEAN countries. Low quality of human resources can harm the nation, so it needs to be prevented as early as possible. Factors affecting academic achievement are stunting and nutritional intake. Unbalance nutritional intake makes children difficult receiving information. Stunting can reduce brain development so that academic achievement can decreases. The study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional intake (energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrate) and stunting with academic achievement in elementary school-aged children at SDSN Jati Rahayu V Bekasi City. The study using a cross-sectional design. The independent variables study is nutritional intake and stunting, the dependent variable is academic achievement. The research subject is students class 4 and 5 SDSN Jati Rahayu V, Bekasi City with a total sample of 122 students. Data is collected by questionnaire Food Recall 2x24 hours, anthropometric measurements, and raport. Analyzed using Chi-Square and Fisher’s Exact test. The conclusion of this study is there is no relationship between energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrate intake and stunting with academic achievement in elementary school-aged children at SDSN Jati Rahayu V, Bekasi City.
