Background: breast milk (ASI) is formed during pregnancy and breast milk is produced naturally by the body, which is the best food for babies. Lack of milk production is one of the reasons why mothers decide to give formula milk to their babies. Based on the 2018 Indonesian health profile, the coverage of infants at the provincial level who received exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia was 68.74% while the coverage for the province of West Sumatra was still below the accumulated coverage of Indonesia's exclusive breastfeeding by province, which was 68.11%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of oxytocin massage in expressing breast milk. Design of this study used the Literature review method, and search journals using the Google Scholar data base with the keywords " post partum mother ,Oxytocin massage, breast milk production ". There were 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The result of this study is that by using the oxytocin massage technique, it will increase the success of exclusive breastfeeding.
