The increase in the number of elderly population on the one hand shows an increase in the number of human lives. However, there is a problem that then arises, namely how to make an older age of life also directly proportional to the health status of the elderly, because changes in lifestyle which are marked by a lack of physical activity will of course increase the risk of various health problems, especially for the elderly, considering that the In the elderly, the function of organs, metabolism, and psychological conditions has decreased a lot. Uric acid is the breakdown of purines obtained from food intake which then circulates in the blood vessels and is excreted through the gastrointestinal and urinary tracts. If the breakdown of purines does not take place completely and the amount that enters the body exceeds the threshold, uric acid crystal deposits are formed which can enter the joints of the body. This pain due to excess uric acid crystals is called Gout Arthritis or more popularly called gout. The research used is a descriptive study obtained from 2020-2021 at one of the Bekasi Private Hospitals. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The total population obtained was 4000 respondents, then calculated using the Slovin formula and obtained a sample of 400 respondents consisting of 162 men and 238 elderly women. The results obtained based on the age of 87 respondents aged 60-64 years, 243 respondents aged 65-69 years and 70 respondents aged 70-74 years, as many as 249 patients or 62% had high uric acid levels, the remaining 151 patients or 38% had high uric acid levels. normal uric acid levels with an average of 6.5 mg/dl.
