Breast milk is produced by humans and a gift created by God. Breast milk has a very complete
content and a lot of benefits for the baby's needs are met. Breastfeeding is not just about drinking
by sucking the nipple but in an inappropriate and irregular way, causing many obstacles in
breastfeeding, especially for primiparous and nursing mothers, and often not realized. According
to WHO Increasing the number of breastfeeding mothers worldwide could save the lives of more
than 820,000 children under the age of five. In Indonesia, most women (96%) breastfeed their
children throughout their lives, but only 42% of children under 6 months are breastfed. Compared
to the WHO target of 50%, this figure is still far from the target. Providing lactation education for
mothers and children is aimed at knowing the Effectiveness of Mother and Child Love Education
through Audiovisual Media on Knowledge and Attitudes of Breastfeeding Mothers during the
Covid-19 Pandemic in the Work Area of the Bantar Gebang Health Center 2022.
The method in this study uses a quasi-experimental one group pretest post test using a
questionnaire with audiovisual or video media provided. This study was conducted on mothers
who breastfeed and have babies aged 0-24 months
Results: The test was carried out using the Wilcoxon signed rank test on the knowledge and
attitudes of the results of the research conducted on the pre-test and post-test, there were
differences in the results of pvalue Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 means p-value <0.05 which means
there is a significant increase in knowledge after breastfeeding mother and child love education
through whatsapp. This shows that there is a significant increase in knowledge and attitudes after
breastfeeding mother and child care through audiovisual media
